The cutback plan from a year or was it two ago was backed by statistics and seemed well thought out. Maybe tourism, local RTA's or cities/towns need to come up with funding or planning.
Based on what I've seen of the T's ability to count, I consider next to nothing of the 2012 cuts reasonable. They cut express buses because they hadn't gone out and realized that the AFC counts were inaccurate because those with monthlies board through the back door. The CR counts usually come out of CTPS which is more reliable, but cutting the loss leader service that brings in daily riders is pretty darn short-sighted.
