Two points:
A few weeks ago, I was in P'ville visiting a customer near the cemetary a few blocks from 322 and I hear a train whistle. As I left the customer's place, I crossed the tracks serving the lumber yard and was surprised to see one of the MLW diesels from SRNJ moving cars around in there.
Yesterday I went by their yard and was really surprised to see that there aren't many cars left. Seems that they either are scrapping them or the owners are moving them out. The other surprising thing is that the story was that they wanted to track space for car storage. So all of the tankers that ran north out of their yard on the old CNJ main line are gone and there are a few trash cars south of 561. I guess the economy has picked up to the point that those cars have been put back into service, or moved to another facility for storage. Their centercabs are just sitting and getting tagged by "artists." Shame but since they have friction bearings, they are stuck there until someone comes to truck them away.
Later!
