Thankyou for the info. Does not seem to be much action west of BROWNS. Did not realize there was still any reason for activity on the FREEHOLD/ JAMESBURG. Ditto for anything around HEIGHTSTOWN. Are the rails still active south of heightstown, down along RT. 130 thru WINDSON to BURLINGTON?
Will be awhile till I get up to that area. Wife did manage to bring down 3 kielbasis for the old bridge store and a SHOP-RITE pork roll for the SPOTSWOOD store. Shop-rite pork rolls are much milder than the TAYLOR which are available down here.
Just reinstituted my membership in the PRRT&HS after a few years absence. Good move, have a quality quarterly magazine called THE KEYSTONE. Also a tribute magazine to DON WOOD, noted train photographer from HAZLET. Ran into him a few times years ago at the S. AMBOY engine change.
Anyone know if a gentelman named BOYD MASON is still around. Had the LIONEL TRAIN STOP in HAZLET? regards DARIUS

On my way home tonight I spotted a big ol' yellow MOW crane w/ small gondola sitting at the east end of the yard. Hoping that there's some sunlight in the morning so I can go take some photos of it.

Anyone know why its there?

(EDIT) It is still there. Photos from this morning.

I drive down rt 130 at least three times a week and there are almost always cars at the Agway on 130.

Do you mean a non ex-Conrail unit I'll have to look in my records, but I remember using a 26xx in Browns around 2002.

26XX series are all ex-L&N/Sea Board I believe.

well considering there are no "chessie" painted units left, I dont quite understand the question anyway.
