I haven't been to their place yet but I did take a drive-by. The outside deck has been painted/stained and the tables and chairs are outside. It will be a great view of the yard from Harlem Rd west unobscured [excluding telephone poles]. The weather needs to improve a little bit more.

I will be headed to Fairport next month for an Erie Canal cruise and I noticed the routing from Buffalo will take me right past this place now named Fairport Hots [Underpass Bar and Grill]. The cruse starts at 6pm so I'll likely stop before that. What is rail traffic like here. I've never been in this area before and have no clue as to how busy it is.

Here is the website to Underpass Bar and Grill. An interesting historical photo with the RR in the background.

The VR cam at Fairport:

will give you a good idea. 40-50 trains a day, on average. It's anyone's guess what percentage of those take the bypass on a given day, and almost all that do are traveling eastbound. It seems to be at the dispatchers discretion, but it certainly sees multiple trains a day.
