The Naugy, for whom I volunteer as a Carman, is beginning to schedule excursions for the upcoming 2024 season.

So far, rides include:

- Leprechaun Express: This ride from Thomaston to Torrington includes beer and fudge tastings enroute. During the layover in Torrington a traditional St. Patrick's Day meal of Corned Beef and Cabbage will be served at Mad Dog Brewing, a beautifully restored vintage firehouse. Rides take place at 6pm on Friday, March 15, and 5pm on Saturday, March 16. For more info: Leprachaun Express

- Easter Bunny Express: Kids get to meet the Easter Bunny and receive a chocolate Easter egg and basket on this fun trip. These ride take place on Saturdays and Sundays during March. For more info: Easter Bunny Express

- Chocolate Decadence Tour: A new and improved excursion to Fascia's Chocolates is available this year, with multiple classes of premium seating available. The tour includes multiple pours paired with chocolates during a scenic ride along the Naugatuck River, a souvenir glass, and a chance to make a piece of custom chocolate. These rides take place throughout the excursion year. For more info: Chocolate Decadence Tour

Multiple classes of service are now available, including Coach, the Naugatuck Lounge, Premium Coach (plush reclining seats), and Retro Lounge. For more info: Classes of Service
