Thanks CRail - I actually came back to find out why the trains are going so dang slow..

Anyone know if there's been a meaningful uptick in service over on Rockburyport? I like the fare mitigation if North Shore actually are "ditching the drive" - not so much someone trying to figure out a reason to go to Newburyport because of the low fare... or is that just me?
Ultimately taxpayers are at the foot of the bill.

Either way, fine by me. Someone on a day trip is pumping money into the Newburyport economy. Running the train is a sunk cost.
