Another railroad based forum I'm in shared these photos taken in Bensenville, IL in 1992. Have no idea what the purpose was, but 235 and 560 were some of the locos and cab cars used for leasing to other railroads to pilot commuter service, maybe Metra wanted to test them? I'm not sure who the original photographer was, so any info on these photos and this, apparent test run would be greatly appreciated.
