Probably late 1933. The metadata embedded in the photo states that it is of the Pulaski Skyway, and that the Skyway will be closed to trucks starting January 15th. The closure to trucks started in 1934. Note that the photo actually shows what is the Jersey City approach looking west to the elevated portion of the Skyway, but was part of the overall Skyway project to my understanding.

Nice photo. What is it I see that looks like a track that cuts across the cut for the Bergen Arches tracks on a diagonal in the foreground and passes through a small arch at the very bottom of the photo? Not sure it is a track, but looks more like one than a road. A trolley line? Jim S
