Good morning everyone-

Does anyone here know how to get to Muddy Pond, along the B&A in Washington, MA?

I've been thinking of heading up that way, and I would love to hit the spot but I don't know how to get there, and the maps on google or others don't do a very good job of pointing it out.

Thanks for the help-
Matt

Is that pond west of where Bullards's bridge used to be? When the bridge was
still there, looking west, a bear could sometimes be seen crossing the tracks
from right to left, and local railfans used to comment that the bears were
going down for a drink. I believe there is a wildlife protection area north
of the tracks. I never heard of any bear vs train encounters with fatalities.
Those Mass, bears must look both ways before crossing.

Approx 700 meters due South of old Bullards Crossing Bridge location on the East side of the tracks. See the map link I posted
