What are we as electricians attesting to in block 5 of the blue card when we sign it? Does anyone want to give me an interpretation or tell me where to find it in Code 49. I have looked through all the my company's info and tried to wade through the FRA literture to no avail. The event recorder is spelled out well but not block 5. It lists in the instructions on the card ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE, DIESEL-ELECTRIC etc. Yes, it is a diesel electric locomotive. :wink: Somehow I think there is more to it than that.
