Amtrak Trains 19 and 20 meet at Coaling, AL with 19 holding the main and Train 20 taking the siding. Train 19 immediatley takes off after Train 20 is in the clear and once the dispatcher lines the switch Train 20 backs out and takes off. From the time Train 20 appeared and dissapeared took less than 10 minutes!

Outstanding work by both crews!

Track gangs are laying down tie plates from north to south so the action around Tuscaloosa is sparse to say the least. I did manage to get NS 225 before they got started and then of course the Amtrak runs which were running under track warrants between Crabtree amd Tuscaloosa. This of course caused a delay for both trains but provided great audio for my video's as I had just charged up the batteries in my hand held. Be sure to check out 19's reverse move with great radio.

AGS South action at Tuscaloosa using my new JVC Everio camera. The editing sucks but I'm sure I will get better as I get use to the software. The camrea is great and I really like it.

Unknown NS train I captured using the auto shoot feature of my new Everio camera while I was at the gym and Amtrak Train 19 and 20 at Grimmes Crossing road in Coaling, Alabama. Train 20 has a sleeper on the rear!

Not a good day for chasing. Started raining heavy around noon. Did manage to get Both Cresents and NS 198 before calling it quits

Went out to Coaling today in hopes of catching a meet between Amtrak Train 19 and 20. NS 22Q was in the hole so I figured 19 would pull in behind then back out after Train 20 passed. I figured right but wasn't going to drive back there and get my truck muddy. Instead I took advantage of the slow orders and shot both trains in various locations. Exceptional horn work by both crews but Train 19's crew just showed out as they came up to MP 195. Great work by all!

be sure to watch the last video...it's funny if I do say so myself
