- Guilford Rail System changed its name to Pan Am Railways in 2006. Discussion relating to the current operations of the Boston & Maine, the Maine Central, and the Springfield Terminal railroads (as well as the Delaware & Hudson while it was under Guilford control until 1988). Some folks on Yahoo said it was an EDAY, would the Rigbys get set at Ayer for continuance on SEPO?
It was the ED-8/EDAY crew but train was EDPO. Ayers would get set off in Ayer. Would also have a pick up there especially empty water if on a weekend day SEPO isn't scheduled.
The 19 Fitch's/Ayers were dropped on the east side at OX. (28N was canned on the west side) EDPO canned at Westford, no Ayer pickup today.

POED today had the 8955-610-601-606 and 123 cars out of NC. Of course 2 units were dead (610-606), so FI-1 327 gave them a shove from CPF Derby to Gardner.
EDPO had 600-3005-3001 today and canned in the Hill yard this morning. Big train with H20 on the rear.

On my way into work this afternoon I came across POED working Fitchburg at 1400 with the 609-600-608-3400-327-606-505 (all blues!). They had a pick-up of 70 cars off the east side. Train was well over 100 cars.
FI-1 306 was eastbound out of the west side of OX at the same time.
