An issue of the magazine, "Locomotive And Railway Preservation" shows a 4 stall engine house standing in Plainville, MA. The date is circa 1990, or in the early 90s.

Does anyone know if the structure is still standing, and its location?

Thanks

As of 6 monthes ago it was still there. It is located on West Bacon st. just out side of downtown Plainville. I believe that it is being used as a garage for a fuel oil dealer.

Indeed it is still standing and in good condition. Quite a substatntial size engining house on a branch line.

The 1930 NH public timetable shows passenger service originating in N. Attelboro via Plainville and Cedar to Boston.

Thanks for the information.
