HEADED TO THE 2016 PGA CHAMPIONSHIP AT BALTUSROL?
NJ TRANSIT has been working with the PGA of America to provide a transportation plan that will support the thousands of golf fans attending the 2016 PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, NJ, from July 25 through July 31.
The Baltusrol Golf Club is located near Summit Train Station, one of the stops along NJ TRANSIT's Morris & Essex Lines. The Morris & Essex Lines provides weekday and weekend rail service from Penn Station New York and Hoboken Terminal, as well as from many communities in between and farther west. Travelers coming from northern or southern points along our rail network can make easy connections with Morris & Essex Lines service at Secaucus Junction.

NJ TRANSIT will be running additional rail service to/from Summit Station during PGA Championship Week to accommodate travelers planning to attend the tournament.

Once visitors reach Summit Station, a PGA-contracted, private bus vendor will take them to the golf club. Customers should make note of the schedule for trains departing Summit at the end of the tournament.
NJ TRANSIT Ticket Purchases & Advance Reservations
You can purchase your tickets from ticket vending machines and ticket windows at train stations, or on your mobile device through NJ TRANSIT's mobile app using the MyTix ticket purchasing feature. Our app also makes it easy to check out travel options and determine departure locations. Tickets purchased onboard trains are subject to a $5 surcharge and must be purchased with cash.
If you plan to attend on Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31 and will be traveling from Penn Station New York or Hoboken Terminal, you will be able to purchase a reserved round-trip ticket in advance online for a specific train until they are sold out. These special tickets go on sale beginning Saturday, July 23.
If you are traveling with children, you may be able to take advantage of our special Family SuperSaver Fare that allows up to two children (ages 5-11) to ride free with a passenger paying any valid fare. This fare is in effect from 7 p.m. on Friday until 6 a.m. on Monday. In addition, up to three children 4 and under can ride free with each fare-paying adult at all times.
Senior citizens (62 and older), customers with disabilities, and military members and their dependents may purchase tickets at half price with valid ID. Click here for more information on ticket options.
No open containers of alcohol will be permitted on board all Morris and Essex Line trains from Thursday, July 28 through Sunday July 31.
