The news report I saw stated that the train had been stopped for over an hour before it started moving again. Just before it started moving, the woman apparently tried to pass the train by going under or between some cars. Apparently this happened far enough back on the train that the engineer did not see it happen, but crew at the rear of the train noticed the victim.

The MBTA Transit police were on TV and said they and local Police responded to this accident and are still investigating it. What's good is they said they are also planning on targeting areas due to increase in trespass with nice weather etc.

Recently a local drunk tried climbing over the couplers of a switching AYMO at Ayer. Funny part was a local cop was parked by the station, but since it was dark out, the guy didn't know that he was watching every move. Just as he started to climb over, the train moved, and the guy fell on the ground. On went the blues, and to the station they went. Rumor is the same guy did it a few days later!!!
