There are sleeping compartments in either 100 or 101, but I forget which one.

Maybe the idea is to remove the sleeping compartments from the existing cars and reconfigure those spaces for other uses. Just a wild guess.

ST100 for sure has bunks. From what I've heard ST100 is mostly Mr. Fink's car. This sleeper was purchased so that guests would be more comfortable and give back more of 100 to Dave.

On a side note to all of this, keep your eyes out this week. I believe the OCS will be leaving Waterville today for Rigby, and at a later time head west to pick up the Mississippi wherever it is on the property currently.

Tentatively planned to run west tomorrow. Mississippi/ST 103 is at Deerfield.

PAR OCS left Waterville today 11/12 around noontime.

Most "Biz Fleet" and Private cars have underframe mounted Gen-sets to power the car off the HEP train line or ground power supply,
when standing alone at a remote location.

OCS west bound by MP 259 at 1709 hrs. 12 Nov 18.

Been reported by multiple parties to be running south on the Conn River Line with ACSES-equipped 352 leading.

PAR OCS in Plainville CT with "new" car Connecticut and the 350-352 doing the honors today 11/14.

The OCS headed out today with the F's, the sleeper which evidentially was renumbered to #41 and renamed to the "George H.W. Bush", ST 102,101, and 100. I cant tell if the photo is fake or not, but it looks fairly real. https://www.flickr.com/photos/127078465 ... 27/in/feed

GHW Bush tribute or not, it is probably wise that the sleeper was not numbered 103. While these cars are ST owned, the potential for people referring to it as Pan Am 103 might be in poor taste.

Good point.

When Guilford released their first Pan Am boxcar many years ago (long before Guilford Transportation changed its name to Pan Am Systems), someone with a can of spray paint quickly tagged it with "103."
