Oil trains for southern New Jersey

65W went out Monday afternoon with SD70ACe 1169 and 1115.

NS 64W came in overnight with Norfolk Southern Heritage Unit NS 8114 leading.

Heritage Unit NS 8114 came back with Friday's NS 64W.

DL&W Heritage Unit NS 1074 came in with 64W and the power was parked on Sunoco siding after shoving the loads in to Sunoco Logistics.

64W arrived Westville overnight with NS 1058 and LV Heritage NS 8104.
SMS GP38-3 SLRS 2003, built in 1967 as P-RSL GP38 2003, and SLRS 4211, built in 1978 as ATSF 6354, came out to shift tanks to a different track in Sunoco Logistics yard.

I returned to Westville Monday afternoon to get the power in better light.

A 64W came in unremarked over the weekend. The power was at Trash Alley Tuesday morning.

????? The people in the northern part of the state are complaining about the oil trains passing threw (CSX). I read about it every week in the paper !! But never here about that part of the state , any yaping going on down there?????

Very little. The frighteners don't seem to be aware of NS 64W bringing Bakken crude to Westville. There are other destinations that receive heavy crude that complainers have whined about in the press.

The next 64W came in overnight. Power was left at "Trash Alley": NS 7501, BNSF 7327, and CSX 260.

64W came in Friday afternoon with NS 8093, UP 8656, and UP 5058.

August's first 64W arrival was Saturday morning, with the ES44AC pair photographed on the Sunoco siding Saturday afternoon (better light).

The second 64W of August came in Monday afternoon.

YPCA05 took out 65W Sunday afternoon.

64W came in at three something Tuesday morning. The power was at Trash Alley: former UP SD9043MAC NS 7240, and two GE's.
