Need some help nailing down some dates for various "looks" of the NYC...

1) When was the gothic NYC font introduced? 1935?

2) When was the two-tone gray paint scheme introduced (the later version that was adopted by Pullman, not the earlier light gray on gray)?

3) When was the logo with the script "Central" introduced?

4) When was the cigar band logo introduced?

5) When was Century Green introduced?

Thanks in advance...

More:

--The history of ovals and the varietes, including thext (...lines / system).
--When the green (same as Jade?) E8 appeared and when disappeared.
--Only one E8 painted black, what happened to the experience unit?
--How many F7 had golden stripe in the nose. When painted and when overpainted.
--E7/8 silver trucks, factory delivered? How many locos had silver trucks and when trucks overpainted. (Hard to maintenance.)

As I told Otto, I find this NYC Graphical / Coloring History very important.
Let's make a good database of this stuff.

On the same subject, it is rather difficult to find information on passenger interior colors, as most photos of interiors are black and white.

To answer part of NYC.FIN's questions,
E-8 4055 received the black w/ gold stripping in 65, looks sharp but was deemed that it didn't show up well and black wasn't suited for passenger units.
E-8 4047 received the dark gray w/ gold stripping also in 65.
The jade green E-8 I can't remember the number was painted in 61 I believe but didn't last long.
F7A 1754 & F3A 1608 received the black w/ gold stripping in 65.

Hope this helps.
