MP-15ac's out & about

I caught 161 moving lite into Babylon yesterday. Not sure why the cab is repainted while the rest isn't.

Maybe LIRR ran out of paint? Ok, I know, bad joke even by LIRR standards.

This is what I caught on Saturday December 23. 2023 in Queens Village,

10:41 AM 164 was towing a Greenport trainset from KO to Richmond Hill, 164 returned east before 12 PM to Babylon,
11:52 AM #153 and 152 was running light westbound on a light move.
3:18 PM 166 was headed eastbound to Wellwood from Hillside - Holban yard.

Last Thursday December 28, 2023, I caught 161 towing a 4 car C3 set from Port Jefferson to Richmond Hill yard by Elmont station at 2:31 PM.

Last Thursday Feb 1, 2024

I saw MP15 #160 going by Elmont at 10:23 AM headed eastbound to Garden City–Mitchell Field Secondary, it came back by Elmont in the afternoon at 2:10 PM westbound leading a train with gondolas plus a excavator on it. It went to Belmont Park to be wyed to have the Loco faced east for the trip to Wellwood, it back to Elmont at 2:30 PM.

On Saturday Feb 3,
At 12:04 PM #160, 165 and 152 went passed Jamaica westbound light to Richmond Hill yard.

On Thursday Feb 8,

At 10:30 AM MP15AC 150 and 164 was leading a work train extra from Holban Yard to Belmont with sided dump cars with 2 Metro North blue dump ones. 164 and 150 went back to Holban lite westbound not long later at around 11 something AM.

At 1:38 PM 171 was leading a work train westbound from Atlantic Pipe to Holban with the same cars which I saw at Elmont 1 week ago, 164 and 150 came back out again but this time running light to Wellwood from Holban at 2:42 PM.

Love the E-15s, but they looked their best in the as-delivered blue & white.

On Friday 3/15/2024 I caught #166 going to Fresh Pond as it went by Jamaica at 12:23 PM westbound, saw 166 headed back east passed Queens Village at 3:25 PM to Wellwood with #165 and red Gondola cars.

2 days before I saw 166 going by westbound passed Merillon Avenue on Wednesday 3/13 from Wellwood to Morris Park, saw it going back westbound later in the afternoon.

168 was seen in Jamaica as their switcher both days.

On Wednesday March 27, 2024 at 3:57 PM 165 was leading 2 tie cars passed Babylon from Patchogue to Wellwood westbound on track 2.
