Mentioned in a recent newspaper article, Representative Colburn was the point person in acquiring $250,000 for trackwork supporting a propane gas transfer facility/depot in Williamsport. Sorry I don't have specifics but the blurb is in the paper stack somewhere. Any details on this?

If you are talking about Williamsport, that track is serviced by the Maryland Midland RR (now part of G&W). :-D

If you are talking about Williamsburg, then that would be MDDE's trackage. We have a customer there now (Tri-Gas) who already has a siding. We currently can spot eight loads and place two more tanks behind the last tower. Word on the street is they want to double their capacity to 16 to off load and four to stage behind the last tower.

Yea...BURG; that's it, and Tri Gas. Sounds like they got the funding to double their siding capacity. Nice!

It is indeed Tri-Gas. They aren't wasting any time with those state funds. We went by there today on the train (I usually work up north but get to Federalsburg every so often) and the grading is mostly done and the sub roadbed is already in place.
