MBCR F40 Color Scheme

Does any one know if the MBCR has any plans to repaint the current fleet of the older F40's that are used on the north side to match all of the GP40's and the F40-2C's that are predominantly used on the souuthside?

The MBCR won't be repainting anything. The locomotives are all owned by the MBTA.

OK how about the MBTA?

It's highly unlikely the screamers (1000-1017) will ever get repainted into
the "z" band scheme since they are retirement candidates once the next locomotive order is placed (don't ask). So for now its just use them till they drop dead.

I would of thought the 1006 & 1011, which have been dead for years,
would be the ones, but apparently they are not going to be rebuilt.
