The Chestnut Hill West Line should be connected to the the express tracks of the Broad Street Subway. Of course electrical systems and signalling would need to br retrofitted into Rapid Transit useage and a short connector would need to be built, but this would give the residents of Nicetown, G-Town, Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill a much faster and cheaper way downtown. The Chestnut Hill East Line could then retain its R status or be abandoned altogether.

are we going to re-hash this again? this was seriously flogged to death a few months back. Read the archives, please so we don't all have to get into another fight over something that isn't going to happen, at least within the next ten years or so.
