Did the Liberty special run this year to the Army/Navy game in Philadelphia? I know the train was suppose to leave Washington Union Station but, I did not see it run by up near my area near Philly. I was waiting for it since 9:00am until 11:00am and did not see it go by. I guess it was not running at all this year. I know the guy does not like the publicity of his train but I am wondering if anyone knew if the train was running this year or not.
The Liberty Limited special train from Washington DC to the Army-Navy game and return operated in 2005 and 2006 only. It was not operated in 2007 or 2008. It will not operate in 2009.
We (private car MOUNT VERNON) were honored to participate in the 2006 train.
