Lammoille Valley boxcars?

Is this line or company still in existence? On siding near my house there
is a boxcar with LVRC as the reporting mark. This car was and is still
painted Oregon&Northwestern, a road that went defunct in 1984. This car
is a 50' double door unit and looks like its seen better days. Anyone know?

A railroad doesn't have to still have any track or the like to still be opperating with reporting marks, just think about how many Central Vermont cars have been built since they stopped running trains. Whoever controls/controled the LVRC (state of vt maybe?) can continue to use the marks and thus those cars for income.

Any car stencilled LVRC is owned by GE Capital Leasing
