That said, it's three narrow lanes per direction, and thus there's going to be speed limits down that section to safely get folks through. The original was four wide lines per direction.

Still, good plan to get some traffic flowing through the area.

I think the traffic volume will provide all the speed limits needed; they'll be inching along for a mile or so before they get there. There's a strong likelihood of road rage, resulting in a fender bender or worse, blocking 2 or 3 lanes. Still, way better than than detouring through the streets.

Agreed. It'll go from 4 lanes to 3, but from the live traffic camera on the scene, cars and trucks are barely squeezing through and staying in lane. That's a tight bridge for three lanes.

That said, glad SEPTA's keeping a few additional trains on the schedule on the Trenton line.

Everyone - The re-opened bridges on I-95 at Cottman Avenue will be watched constantly by authorities...
Expect a visible Police presence from Philadelphia PD and PA State Troopers in that vicinity...

The live cameras will allow Penndot to watch and see how these temporary bridges hold up to the high
traffic volume they are expected to have while the permanent replacement overpasses are designed and
constructed at the site - along with the Cottman Avenue access from the northbound lanes restored...

SEPTA's Trenton Line did benefit from some additional ridership during these past two weeks...
Will some affected I-95 commuters continue to use RRD trains instead of driving?
