A must do for the "enthusiast" who will never really experience a "real" train from the Locomotives. One thing this does i start the "fire" to find a place within driving distance I can "Volunteer"

In, Portland, Oregon you can get a cab ride aboard a GMD-1, a SW-1 or a SW-1200, depending on what locomotive they choose for the Saturday excursion.

Plus before or after your visit, take a tour of a Southern Pacific GS-4 steam locomotive, a Union Pacific SW-10, and more.
