I am a student at Brandeis in Waltham which is a no horn zone and I've noticed that the past two days that the commuter rail trains have been sounding their horns. Anyone know a reason behind this?

Usually that sort of thing is for trackworkers in the area, or other people like surveyors or private contractors who might be working in the vicinity of the right-of-way.

I doubt it's just people crossing when they shouldn't because I've been hearing them consistantly with almost every train. Not that I really mind though.
