Does anyone know if there are any good- looking modern day freight train crews? Also, what is a good handrail paint? Also, does anyone make the names of the Alaska Railroad 70MACs in HO? I want to customize one for my sister.

Searching the Walthers website shows the following: Crew Figures
There was an article in Model Railroader within the last couple of years that suggested using polycarbonate paints intended for R/C car bodies for handrails. Two manufacturers are Tamiya and Pactra Racing Finish. Try hobby stores or websites that sell R/C supplies.
A quick search on Google turned up this website as the first result: http://www.alaskarails.org/glance/complete-roster.html. Click on the locomotive roadnumbers to view a page with a photo and information about the engine. Another Google search didn't find anyone making decals for the names - doubtful since they're still relatively new - but you might try contacting this custom decal manufacturer who specializes in Alaska Railroad decals: http://www.greatdecals.com/Curt.htm
Might just want to try searching on your own the next time you have a question. You'd probably get a faster answer that way.

Your first question sounds a bit funny. Until I looked at astrosa's reply, I thought you were asking if everyone who works on a prototype train crew was ugly!

Sorry for the misconception. I was wondering what would look good in a SD70 cab.
