Has anyone seen/purchased/run this new product?
At the advertised MSRP of $43, (Nov issue, MR) it seems to be a good way to get a DCC loco, but only IF the locomotive runs good enough to get out of its own way.

What say you??

Generally speaking, the Bachmann & it's Spectrum diesels do not enjoy
a solid/favorable reputation. If you want a good performing FT you will have to upgrade. There's a few other FT manufacturers out there. In a nut shell, it's what's under the shell that counts.
MSP of $43.00 is just a suggestion and you could pick it up cheaper but I
wouldn't expect too much for too little.

Are we talking about this model?

It doesn't appear to be Spectrum, but part of the "standard" train set line. Am I wrong?
