Green Line Derailment - 2/12

At BC Yard happening now a type 8 3857 as derailed all BC cars are being crossed back at the Cardinal's crossover. I'm listening to the scanner if I hear more I'll post more info.

Update: All four axles of train have derailed. Train is partially blocking traffic coming from Lake Street. Most cars to be crossed at Chestnut Hill Ave some are to be crossed at Washington for headway adjustments. More to come.

All four axles? Do you mean all six, or just the four powered axles?

Thats what the inspector on the scanner all 4 axles.

They've fixed the Cardinal's Crossover cars are going to be crossed there.

Also Type 7 3636 has had a minor derailment at Bc as well but as already been rerailed.

3857 has been rerailed and is being towed to the yard as of 12:25pm

Is this directly related to the weather, or is there a chance it was the Type 8s being type 8s as well?
