TD and NT:
The Gimbels Passageway (named after a defunct Herald Square department store) was one long block in length
which was under 33rd Street between the main LIRR concourse entrance to the 7th Avenue Subway and the 33rd
Street PATH/34&6th Avenue Subway Station.
This passageway has been closed since the early 1990s as a result of criminal activity and police patrol jurisdiction
problems resulting from its ownership - which was PRR-PC and then Amtrak as part of the Penn Station complex.
