BeeBee Branch??? No. NYC listed it as Rochester Branch in 1943, Conrail called it Rochester Running Track in 1978, and to the crews it was the State Street branch. But not the Beebee branch.

I think the Beebee branch, line, whatever is more of a local railfan designation.

BR&P and Les, thanx for the info and pics. I never knew the NYC or CR designations for the Beebee Branch until recently- I've ususally heard it as under the Beebee name or the Hojack Branch. Obviously, these are not official terms, just what others have called it.

When I was younger, we lived in Spencerport (1961- 1962). I remember going to a restaurant on the east side of the Genesee River just below the trestle in question. There was a clear view of the trestle & the Genesee Brewing Company. Can anyone remember the name of the restaurant?
Thanks in advance,
Jack

BR&P, PSC records show 1886 as the date for the
Genesee Falls incorporation.
Gleaning those same records I have yet to find it
mentioned in conjunction with the NYC.
Its gotta be there.
