The BUMBLEBEE was recently sold to a marina in Rhode Island for use as a moored stationary breakwater for their yacht basin.

I wonder if they can be convinced of what they have (maybe the NHRHTA can), and have her cosmetically restored. Any more info on exactly what marina?

Sorry to report that the BUMBLEBEE sank in the late season coastal storm, she is sitting on the bottom at Melville RI with the wheelhouse and part of the deckhouse exposed. So once again her fate is uncertain. Since they only use her as a breakwater they might refloat her, on the other hand this might be the end of the line for this classic workboat. At this point the decision rests entirely with her owners.
