Just wondered if anyone knows the delivery scheme of the Erie's 2 PA-2s (862-863)? It is pretty well established that the PA-1s were delivered in black and yellow (but that some were repainted green later) with plenty of photo documentation, and I have always assumed this to be the case for the pair of PA-2s as well, but every book or online photo I know of shows the PA-2s in green. Just curious if they were in fact delivered in black and the lack of photos is coincidence, or if they might actually have been green from the start (I should check the build dates of the PA-2s vs the E8s as that would probably shed some light on it as well).
