From the MBTA website: Commuter: Special Notice Concerning Southside Train Service: Until 7PM this evening, all trains into and out of South Station will be running 5-15 minutes behind schedule due to equipment shortages. Allow extra time for your ride.
Tonights 6:05pm Worcester express was a flat set versus the normal set of 5 bi-levels/ 2 flats. A/C broken on several cars.
BTW: Is there a reason that the train announcers at South Station never use Express or Local anymore in their announcements. I noticed they just say "Worcester train" instead of "Worcester Express" or "Worcester Local"
