Heads up to any Harrisburg area PRR fans. Several piers and at least one of the abutments along the original PRR alignment through Duncannon, PA (north of Harrisburg) will be removed sometime this spring and summer as part of a highway bridge project. On Google Maps, the former bridge location is here. The location hasn't seen a train in decades and was destined to never see one again, but it's still a piece of history that won't be lasting much longer.
