What has ever happen to the proposed Cross County Metro project, if anyone has any new details on the Cross County Metro, please post it up.

Its hanging out in the same section of the Capital Budget as the Newtown Line. Probablly won't ever be built because we can't afford it, plus there are so many other projects in front of it (like "Smart Stations").

At the very least, it would be nice to see Amtrak run its NY-Harrisburg trains via the cutoff to establish service along the line making limited stops before joining the mainline at Thorndale.

I doubt it will be built
