Congrats to Rob Free

Rob Free has been stepped up from Acting to the 42nd President of the LIRR. I'll leave the details to a search but they picked a great guy and someone who certainly earned it. Tough but fair and one who would remember your nickname from decades ago. Good luck and lots of patience for a tough job!

I knew Mr. Free for 30+ years during my time at the RR.Probably the best thing you can say about a railroad employee whether they are management or labor is that I never heard anything bad about him.On the RR where everyone likes to gossip, this says a lot. I wish him the best
