Commuter rail returning to Millis?

Is it true that commuter rail will be returning to Millis & if so, when will the MBTA start studying it.

Well it's just an idea now. The congressmen from that area are pushing for it to be added to the Transportation package. It is also on the PMT but under a Medium or Low rating. I dont think there has been an Environmental Draft Report done yet and that will take a while. It's a good idea though. I'm not sure how hot the T will be for it even if they don't have to pay for it. And if they do build it I wonder what will happen to the Needham Branch. Will it stay or be truncated into the Millis Branch?
