Yes. That's the one

A "breaking news" article in Railway Age states that these two GEs are the first AC4400s to be leased by a Class II or Class III railroad, but that's not true: Lake Superior & Ishpeming has been leasing AC4400s for the past seven or eight years.

Are their any weight restrictions to running these two units back to back on the Moosehead? Will a spacer be required like the VRS SD70M-2's?
  by 690

No. The only weight related restriction on the Moosehead for main track is a 10 mph speedo over Onawa if there are loaded cars shorter than 44' that weigh over 220,000lbs.

There was a post on Facebook earlier today that more ex-MMA units were moved to NM Jct for interchange to PAR.
Finally headed to LTE...Anyone got any numbers? CDAC 450 maybe one of them..

Per reports elsewhere:
5016 xBN C30-7
5026 (or 28, last number was faded on side of unit in picture.) Another xBN C30-7
450 xCDAC F40 reuild
8202 xCR C39-8 in blue
2 unknown # B39-8's both in LMX gray, not that there was any question as both MM&A painted units were SoS at Derby.

What does this leave at Derby?

Should leave the Lac Megantic C30-7 5017 and the Railworld Test Bed (ex-Amtrak 273)

There may be two more ex MMA units at Derby. Found a STB document a month ago (from September 2014) that CMQ purchase MMA 8544 and MMA 8561. I don’t know if they still at Derby or if they been resold, parted out, or scraped. This document also includes 2001-2006 and 22 which was later sold.

Also last I knew MMA 8583 was still sitting in Farnham yard after CMQ got it off the Stanbridge sub.

Per report on another site - PanAm train MAWA through Newport, ME this afternoon with the following MMA units in consist:

5016
5026
8202
450
8553
8578

This should pretty much clean out Derby, no?

Supposedly canned at Burnham.

The 8583 was just scrapped at Farnham, Quebec this week.

The 5017 and the Railworld Test Bed (ex-Amtrak 273) should still be at Derby.

All of them except the 5026 were on WAPO this morning, so they're all at Rigby now, except the 5026 at Wtvl. I imagine the 5017 will stay at Derby until the Lac Megantic trials are over.

That "revile" looks pretty sharp! Hope the blue paint doesn't fade / get chalky looking like the old B&M paint.
