The Polar Express is the hottest ticket in North Carolina

If you’re trying to get tickets on The Polar Express, it’s already too late.

If you’re trying to get tickets on The Polar Express, it’s already too late.
State of play: Thousands travel to Spencer, North Carolina (less than an hour from Charlotte) and Bryson City, North Carolina (about three hours from Charlotte) every holiday season to board The Polar Express. Tickets sell quickly each year — the N.C. Transportation Center website says it has only a few single seats and random pairs of seats left this year — and if it’s on your bucket list, you should start planning for next year now.

In New Jersey: "Dear BR&W Fans,
Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner...and so is North Pole Express! Seats are still available but selling fast. Get yours today!

In response to your feedback, this year we are introducing reserved seating! When purchasing your coach tickets, after selecting your departure and ticket quantity, you'll have a chance to select the specific seats you want on the train! This will help with a stress-free experience - no need to worry about finding seats together for your group as you board the train!

Also available beginning this November is our first ever on-board restroom! Located in Coach #1009, our new restroom has very limited capacity and is designed for limited use for emergencies only. Nevertheless, this option is now available to you in those tough situations when one of our young guests needs it in a hurry!

A reminder to railfans: our entire Ringoes facility is closed to the public during our Christmas operation. Only ticketed guests are permitted on BR&W property at Ringoes.

We appreciate your patronage and support; we look forward to welcoming you aboard.

All remaining departures in 2023 will be diesel powered.

Sincerely,

The Volunteer Railroaders of BR&W" https://www.blackriverrailroad.com/

Jeff, you missed Saint Louis’ Polar Express, running from Union Station along the Mississippi, and passing the Arch.

Not a list per se, but a searchable map.
