Center City Holiday Trolley

Just wondering if anyone knows if the trolley in Center City will ever return? Its usually this time of year when SEPTA used to run PCC's up and down 12th/11th Street on the old Rt 23 tracks. With the absence of PCC's I suppose its out of the question. You can bet you won't see any PCC-II's out there are they're all tied up on the 15 now. I've heard routine maintenance and repairs take a long time at Callowhill because of a labor shortage (Very few mechanics from Elmwood transferred to Callowhill).

I doubt anyone would be interested in riding a K-car in Center City, well maybe if you toss a wreath on the front = )

SEPTA always had a corporate sponsor for the Trolley.

No one is stepping up to the plate.

No sponsor, no Holday Trolley.
