Bontabrige Road and Centerport Road crossing updates.

Bontabridge Road in the village of Weedsport, NY has had some small signs of work for the new gates the concrete suports were put down over the corse of the week. The backhoe that was on the Northwest side of the tracks now sits parked on the Southwest side of the crossing. A large truck with a boom was parked along the right of way more paint marks have been put down marking where the digging will be done as well.

Work on Centerport Road has seen the final cables layed and the treches filled in work on erecting the new gates has not begun yet but should be underway soon.

For thows who have not been up to Centerport Road the new Gates are up and the crossing has an added electronic crossing bell on it now.

Bonta Bridge Road has had it's new concrete crossing gate suports installed for some time now the pipeing has been installed and 2 little wires are poping out.

Today 7/7/05 at 11:00a.m. I caught the Dilivery of a 20 ft Container, phone pole, crossing gate suports, 2 Small Cabions and a large spool of wire arrive to Pump Road. 3 Pipes have been installed for the wireing run this was done with in the past 2 or 3 weeks. I would guess that Bonta Bridge and Pump Roads are going to have Electronic Bells installed as well.
