• Any railroaders remember this siding in Rochester?

Under Penn Central it was called the Beauerain Track. Don't know where it was but would like too. All I know is it was restricted from holding a 75' car according to special instruction 1160-D6.

Thanks,

Charles

!?!!? Never heard of it. What ETT or other source are you finding it in?

Are you sure it was not in a different Rochester - Pennsylvania for instance?

It's in PC ETTs from 1-3 starting in 1968 for the Northeastern Region (which covers Syracuse and Buffalo as they moved Rochester from one to the other). It's on the Terminal Secondary (old PRR). It's not mentioned anywhere else in the book, meaning it never comes up as a problem track for restricted engines, speed limits, or street crossings. Just the section on 75' cars. I can't find where the PRR used the name.

Also, I've checked for the name as a street or business and have come up blank. Tried a few other spellings too.
