I'm excited to announce the launch, or rebranding, of the Seaboard System Railroad forum, formerly known as the Louisville and Nashville Railroad forum.

Predecessor railroads included for discussion are the West Point Route, the ACL, the Clinchfield, the L&N, the SAL and SCL, before the Seaboard System's inclusion into CSX in 1982.

Excellent!!!!!! Though short-lived in it's branding, the locomotive livery and same on the plate C boxcars was great. Got to see some of the SBD's boxcars on the Long Island RR back in the '80s, spotted at the Garden City and Hicksville team yards, the PW wye team track in E. Farmingdale, and on the Greenlawn and Medford team tracks and at 84 Lumber in Islip. No graffiti, either!!!!
