Not really out of the weather, is it, if it's only going to have three walls.

It sounds like the shelter at Towaco. Less "3 walls", more "permanent open doorway". It's surprisingly good at being warm in the winter (heat lamps on a timer help) and does a good job keeping people dry in the rain. Plus, it's pretty darn attractive. Hopefully the new Anderson Street is in the same vein. Then maybe they can put up similar ones at Essex St and New Bridge Landing.

Would be nice if they designed it to have removable doors for winter, the kind that slide into a pocket in the wall.

Well, nothing will replace the 1869 depot, but, I really wish Essex Street had something like that (and high-level platforms.)

Depending when the opening is, I might be able to attend.

Well. I did get to go see the station yesterday evening.
