Walthers Metroliners

I recently acquired a set of the new Metroliners, DC version...4 coaches and one each of the parlor and snack bar cars. Pricey, but nicely done. Pretty to watch in a night scene on the layout.
The plating in certain lighting looks streaked, as with the new amfleets. I may try some of the dulling finish suggested in other posts to even oht the finish a bit.

Put seated figures and lights in the amfleets, after figuring out - trial and error - how to get inside the cars by removing the end pieces. The metroliners seem to be a bit more complicated
to disassemble as screws near the power truck are not easily accessible. Anyone have any ideas?
