Yes my friend you can post photos from links. Also, as you can see one can do alot of html stuff. I am justn trying to see if I can post from my hard drive and that will open up ALL sorts of wonderfull things.

How do I post them from my own files? Simply click (img) and place the files name in the middle, then click (img) again?

No, you first have to upload it from your files to a photo website online somewhere before you can post a photo on a forum such as this.
A good choice is www.transitgallery.com. Once you do that, at that point your photo will then have a webaddress that you then click "img", and then the webaddress of your photo to get it to show up here.
There are also some other free sites, but some do not allow remote posting of photos, such as www.webshots.com, which doesn't. With those you can only post links.
