I visited the original Alleghany Central at Covington Va, as a kid.
I recall, in addition to Showaters two CPR locomotives, there was a siding with disused gear, including an ex navy/AF locomotive.
I think it was a 2-8-0.
What happened to the gear that was on the line, when it was ripped up, about 1984?
