CSX road foreman are really encouraging use of the GE trip Optimizer. I've personally had mixed results ands lots of issues getting T.O. to initialize. Anybody else having troubles, ideas or comments. From general conversation, most engineers that I've talked to are not happy with this new technology.
Getting it to initialize can be a hassle, phone call is almost always required to get it to do its thing, most guys only make the attempt to satisfy the rule. That's all I can add, I ride the other seat.
